Welcome to MyGrade UK. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website (mygrade.uk) and the academic support services we provide. By engaging with us, you agree to these Terms.
1. About us
MyGrade UK ("we", "us", "our") is a sole trader operating in the United Kingdom, providing personalised academic support, mentoring, research guidance, and feedback services to university students.
2. Our services
We offer academic support services including:
- Study guidance and subject mentoring
- Research support and source identification
- Structural and methodological feedback on student drafts
- Presentation and referencing coaching
- One-to-one academic consultation
3. Purpose and academic integrity
Important: All materials, feedback, and guidance provided by MyGrade UK are supplied for learning, reference, and study purposes only. They are intended to help you develop your own academic work, not to replace it.
You agree that:
- You will use our materials as a study aid, reference, or model only
- You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of our services complies with your institution's academic integrity policy, honour code, and assessment regulations
- You will not submit our materials as your own work where doing so would breach your institution's rules
- Any work you produce and submit remains your own responsibility
MyGrade UK accepts no responsibility for consequences arising from misuse of our materials.
4. Orders and pricing
- All enquiries are reviewed individually; pricing is quoted on a per-project basis
- Prices depend on subject, level, word count, deadline, and complexity
- A quote becomes a binding order once you confirm in writing and payment is received
- All prices are quoted in GBP (£)
5. Payment
- Payment terms will be stated in your individual quote
- We may require full or partial payment before work commences
- Accepted payment methods will be communicated at the time of quoting
- You are responsible for any bank or currency conversion fees on your side
6. Delivery
- Deadlines are agreed at the time of ordering
- Delivery is made by email to the address you provide
- You must notify us of any delivery issues within 48 hours of the agreed deadline
- We cannot be held liable for delays caused by client-side issues (email problems, incorrect address, late instructions, incomplete briefs)
7. Revisions and amendments
- Minor revisions within the original scope are included
- Revision requests must be made within 7 days of delivery
- Revisions outside the original brief may incur additional charges
- Revisions do not cover changes to the original brief, scope, or learning outcomes
8. Refunds
Refunds may be considered in the following circumstances:
- If we are unable to deliver the agreed work
- If the delivered work materially fails to meet the agreed brief and cannot be rectified through revision
Refunds are not provided in the following circumstances:
- Change of mind after work has commenced
- Dissatisfaction with your final grade (grades depend on many factors outside our control, including marker judgment and your own final submission)
- Breaches of your institution's academic integrity policies
- Failure to communicate the full requirements of the brief at the time of ordering
Refund requests must be made in writing to contact@mygrade.uk within 14 days of delivery.
9. Confidentiality
We treat all client communications, briefs, and delivered materials as confidential. We do not sell, share, or resell your work to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.
10. Intellectual property
- Materials we produce for you are licensed to you for study and reference use only
- We retain the right to retain internal copies of work produced for our records
- You may not resell, redistribute, or publish materials we produce for you
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Our total liability under any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses, including loss of grades, academic penalties, or disciplinary action
- We make no guarantee of any specific academic outcome, grade, or result
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited under UK law.
12. Conduct and use of services
You agree not to:
- Provide false, incomplete, or misleading information when ordering
- Use our services for any unlawful purpose
- Harass, abuse, or threaten our team
- Attempt to circumvent payment or chargeback fraudulently
We reserve the right to refuse or terminate services where these Terms are breached.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates when they were last revised. Continued use of our services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
